ChatGPT says Dogecoin will hit this price by December 31, 2026

Although Dogecoin (DOGE) has suffered notable losses recently, OpenAI’s ChatGPT predicts that the meme coin could recover by the end of the year.
Indeed, the model’s DOGE price forecast stands at $0.085 by December 31, 2026, representing a potential 19.9% increase from its press-time price of $0.0709.
The artificial intelligence (AI) model outlined three scenarios, placing DOGE between $0.055 and $0.065 in a bearish case, $0.085 in its base case, and $0.10 to $0.12 if market conditions improve considerably.
The ChatGPT forecast depends on improving cryptocurrency sentiment, renewed speculative demand and stronger technical momentum.
Reclaiming the $0.0725 resistance level could open the way towards $0.076 and the $0.0845–$0.0855 moving-average (MA) resistance zone.
DOGE technical outlook
However, continued whale distribution, declining network participation, and broader market weakness could invalidate the prediction. A sustained break below $0.0681 would expose DOGE to further losses towards the bearish target range.
Technically, Dogecoin faces a challenging environment, trading below key moving averages. Its 50-day simple moving average (SMA) stands at $0.0845, while the 200-day SMA is at $0.0855. Immediate support levels are $0.0705, $0.0681, and $0.0658, while additional resistance lies at $0.0742 and $0.0760.
Despite rising transaction activity, Dogecoin’s network fundamentals indicate declining participation. A September 30 investigation by blockchain analytics firm Bitquery found that daily active addresses averaged approximately 46,700 in 2026, down 41% year over year and the lowest level since 2017.
The investigation also found that 87.5% of DOGE transferred on-chain returned to sender-associated addresses, suggesting transaction volumes overstate genuine economic activity.
Additionally, 72% of historical transactions occurred during the 2023–2024 Doginals boom. Bitquery identified 604,549 address-poisoning attempts since January 2025, resulting in approximately $2,246 in losses across six deceived wallets.
Dogecoin whale activity
Whale activity also remains mixed, with Santiment supply-distribution data on November 2 showing wallets holding 10 million–100 million DOGE shed approximately 120 million tokens, while wallets holding 100,000–10 million DOGE accumulated a combined 100 million.
Dogecoin also issues 10,000 DOGE per block, equivalent to approximately 14.4 million new tokens daily. Unlike Bitcoin, it has no fixed maximum supply or scheduled halving events, making sustained demand important to absorb new issuance.
