XRP Ledger Secures Third Place In Weekly Stablecoin Capitalization Expansion

XRP Ledger (XRPL) ranked third among blockchains with the highest weekly growth in stablecoin market capitalization, recording net inflows of $58.3 million, according to Token Terminal data published by RWA Foundation.

The ranking came despite a 13.19% decline in XRP Ledger’s stablecoin market capitalization, which had fallen to approximately $999.9 million on October 22. The decline coincided with Ripple moving part of its RLUSD supply to Ethereum.

.@arc led stablecoin market cap growth over the past 7 days, +$252.2M.

That's 2.5x @tempo in second (+$98.2M), with the @XRPLF ledger third on +$58.3M.

Arc, the blockchain developed by Circle, topped the ranking with an increase of $252.2 million. The network focuses on automated settlements involving artificial intelligence agents and smart contracts.

Second place went to Tempo, the payments blockchain developed with the involvement of Stripe and Paradigm, which recorded $98.2 million in weekly growth, primarily driven by liquidity inflows into its Open USD (OUSD) stablecoin.

XRP Ledger outperformed TON and Polygon, which recorded increases of $9.6 million and $9.4 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, XRP Ledger continues testing the SponsoredAccountCreate upgrade, designed to allow companies to create wallets for their customers without locking up the mandatory initial balance of 1 XRP.

However, the Sponsor amendment, which is required to implement this feature, had received just nine validator votes as of October 29, falling short of the supermajority needed for approval.
