Long Discusses the Growth of Tokenization in Financial Markets
Tokenization makes it possible to represent traditional assets as digital tokens that can be issued, transferred, and managed on a blockchain. These include financial instruments that can also be used as collateral in financing transactions.
During Swell, Long and Kerbrat discussed the expansion of this technology and how it is transforming financial market infrastructure.
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has also argued that financial institutions are adopting systems capable of settling transactions in real time and operating around the clock.
Long highlighted Ripple’s business performance, noting that the company is approaching $900 million in annualized product revenue by the end of 2026.
She named Standard Chartered, DBS, HSBC, Robinhood, and BNY among the institutions using Ripple’s blockchain infrastructure solutions. These tools enable businesses to transfer, custody, tokenize, and deploy assets through solutions built on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).
Ripple and Robinhood Strengthen Their Partnership With RLUSD
The discussion between the two executives followed the announcement of a strategic partnership between Ripple and Robinhood to modernize the latter’s financial operations.
Robinhood will integrate Ripple Treasury, a platform designed to automate cash and liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, payments, and risk management.
The solution will also support financial operations between different entities within the company.

Robinhood will also use RLUSD, Ripple’s stablecoin, on the XRP Ledger for institutional settlements, expanding its use within Bitstamp, which Robinhood acquired.
RLUSD is already available on Robinhood Chain and Bitstamp by Robinhood. The company also plans to make the stablecoin available through its main app before the end of the year.
