Ripple Announces $900 Million Revenue Target: How Will XRP Be Affected by This Growth?

Ripple expects to reach annualized product revenue of $900 million by the end of 2026, driven by growth in its payment, custody, stablecoin, and enterprise transaction products.

Ripple announced that it expects to complete 2026 with an annualized product revenue rate of $900 million, following the expansion of its institutional digital asset activities. The company stated that this growth comes from its payment services, custody infrastructure, RLUSD stablecoin, prime brokerage, and treasury management products.

The annualized revenue rate does not guarantee that the company will achieve $900 million in revenue in 2026. This metric is calculated assuming that the current revenue rate for a given period will continue for 12 months. Actual annual revenue may vary depending on customer usage, market conditions, and product demand.

According to Ripple, the number of customers and partners using multiple company products simultaneously tripled by 2026. The total volume processed by the payment network since its inception is expected to approach $150 billion by the end of the year. The market capitalization of the company’s dollar-backed stablecoin, RLUSD, has also reached $2.6 billion.

Ripple Prime has become a key component of institutional growth. The platform has made swap products linked to over 100 market indicators available for trading and settlement 24/7. Institutional clients can use RLUSD as collateral in these transactions.

Aviva Investors’ launch of a tokenized share class on the XRP Ledger for its £22 billion Sterling Liquidity Fund is also cited as an example of institutional use cases. Hedge fund Brevan Howard has also expanded its relationship with Ripple to include prime brokerage, clearing, and financing services.

While these developments relate to Ripple’s growth, they don’t guarantee a proportional increase in the XRP price. XRP is currently down approximately 30% since the beginning of the year. Ripple’s revenue comes from its various products, and XRP token holders are not direct shareholders or partners in this revenue. The potential impact on XRP could be indirect, through network usage and investor demand.
