Bitcoin Trader: $30 XRP Price Is Pretty Realistic. $400 Is Impossible

Crypto analyst Bitcoin Boy (@btcbox123) called $30 as his price target for XRP, rejecting the triple-digit forecasts circulating across the community. “I don’t think XRP will hit $400 either,” he wrote. “But I do think $30 is pretty realistic.”

He revealed that he has been in crypto since 2017. He has witnessed XRP’s major surges firsthand, and says he is holding his position for the next rally.

A Pattern With a Track Record

The case for $30 starts with the weekly chart. XRP has traded inside a long-term ascending channel since 2014. Within that channel, the asset has repeatedly compressed into symmetrical triangles before launching upward. The 2017 surge, the 2021 rally, and the 500% move in late 2024 all followed the same sequence.

XRP now sits at the apex of another triangle inside that same channel. The setup is structurally identical to what preceded the previous three breakouts, and the analyst suggests that a new all-time high is on the horizon.

XRPが400$行くとは俺も思わない。でも30$は割と現実的じゃないと思う。2017年から暗号通貨をやってるけど、信じられないXRPの暴騰を見てきた。俺は持ち続けるよ#XRP pic.twitter.com/ji8lw8WxPP

Where $30 Comes From

Bitcoin Boy’s $30 target is grounded in the long-term ascending channel that has contained XRP’s price. Each bull cycle has pushed toward the upper band of that channel before pulling back.

The analyst’s $30 XRP target would represent a test of that boundary again. From XRP’s current price near $1.24, that target represents a move of more than 2,300%.

Putting Distance Between $30 and the Crowd

Some analysts have placed targets at $400. Others have gone as high as $1,000. Bitcoin Boy is not buying either figure. His $30 call is grounded in what the chart’s channel structure can realistically support within this cycle, not in speculation about what XRP could theoretically reach.

That distinction separates his analysis from much of what currently circulates around the asset. While the overall stance on XRP is bullish, he has set realistic expectations for the asset, and hitting that target would also give early buyers significant profit.

What the Chart Says Now

The triangle has compressed XRP’s price to a decision point. Three times before, this pattern resolved to the upside. The ascending channel gives this cycle a ceiling, with the triangle acting as a trigger for the breakout. Bitcoin Boy is watching that setup play out from inside his position. “I’m holding on tight,” he wrote.
