Binance November LUNC Burn Not Yet Recorded After 44-Month Streak

Binance’s expected November Luna Classic (LUNC) burn has not yet appeared in StatsBin’s tracked records, interrupting a run of monthly transactions recorded from March 2023 through October 2026. The latest entry remains an October 1 burn of 334.88 million LUNC. The absence of a November transaction breaks a 44-month sequence in the tracker, although StatsBin cautions that a missing month should not automatically be treated as a zero burn.

StatsBin currently records 88.10 billion LUNC burned by Binance across 50 tracked transactions. The monthly burn mechanism reflects the centralized crypto exchange’s practice of removing a portion of LUNC associated with its trading activity from circulation. Historical amounts have varied sharply, from 275.65 million LUNC in August 2026 to 5.30 billion in January 2026. The tracker does not indicate that Binance has formally ended the program.

The key development to watch is whether a November transaction appears later in the month or Binance issues an update on the burn schedule. Until then, the missing entry confirms only that no November burn has been recorded in StatsBin’s dataset. The distinction matters because delayed execution would differ materially from a permanent suspension of Binance’s LUNC burn mechanism.
